After the MS Walk on Sunday we hurried home to have Max’s 2nd Birthday party. We had such a great time and all of his aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents were there to help him celebrate!

We started out with food and then cupcakes. Everyone wore their party hats and sang. The wind wasn’t cooperating so Max didn’t get to blow out his candles but he didn’t care. He just wanted to eat the cupcake!

After cupcakes we had a piñata. Each of the three older kids took turns hitting it (Allison, Lyla and Max). Allison is pictured below as she was the only one that could really take a good swing!

Lyla and I helped Max open his gifts. He was spoiled with lots of trucks, golf, baseball, a water slide and more. We seriously need to build that extra garage soon with all the stuff these kids have! Max was very good at going around and giving each person their thank you kiss when he was done opening their presents too! The kids had fun trying out all the new toys.

Uncle Ed brought out a kite since it was so windy and Uncle Andrew hooked it up to a fishing pole and the boys took turns flying that beautiful Toy Story kite high into the sky. The string eventually broke and the kite flew far, far away which was quite the site after all the time the “adults” spent flying that kite on a fishing pole. It was pretty funny.

Oh, and don’t worry Rory got lots of cuddle time in too with everyone. Here she is playing with her G.G. Janet!

Also, Rory cut her first tooth today! I guess all that partying and pigging out on crackers helped it to finally come out.
