Last night Dusty and I surprised the kids and took them to the Holidazzle Parade. It was awesome! We skipped our dinner to make it out there in time, which did make the kids a little grumpy, but Daddy saved the day by getting some food while the kids and I found a spot to watch the parade.

The weather wasn't too bad, about thirty two degrees, and since I have no problem being that Mom and carrying two blankets, chairs, and bundling up in snow pants with the kids, we were all quite warm while watching the lights, floats, and people go by.

Of course, having someone sit on your lap help keeps some of that cold out, but don't tell the kids that, I just told them the parade was a place you snuggled at!

It was a nice evening out celebrating the holiday season!
