This weekend Uncle Cecil brought home a Christmas tree for us. Yes, it really is great having Uncle Cecil here, especially when he gets us a tree! The only problem? It's the biggest tree we've ever had in this house. Cecil and Dusty had to use a chair and a ladder to get the lights around the top of the tree and we had to put it in our vault, which means it's between the kitchen and living room, not exactly in front of the picture window like I'd hoped. But, we have a tree!

The kids were extra helpful in their reindeer horns. Those reindeer horns from Tata last weekend? Pretty much on the kids heads every evening.

And of course, Dusty screwed the tree stand into the carpeting again. Just like every year since the tree tipped over, which I'm pretty sure was 6 years ago now? I can't remember if it was our first or second Christmas together. Either way? It better not ever happen again!

Thank you Uncle Cecil for getting us a Christmas tree this year! (And for letting me coerce you into this photo. It is adorable.)

Next? We decorate!
