Today Rory had her first dental cleaning. She did amazing and never once tried to get out of the chair or stop them from cleaning her teeth. They gave her some styling sunglasses to shade her eyes while they cleaned her teeth.

And since it is Rory, she naturally had to add her own flare and strike a relaxed pose. I really do love that silly girl!

Max also got his teeth cleaned. He went first, jumped in the chair, and told me I didn't have to sit with him. Talk about a big boy! He didn't quite enjoy the flossing and did try to stop it, but once that was done he parked himself in a chair and watched the movie on the ceiling for the rest of the visit. (Which also included my cleaning, so 2 hours later we finally got out of there.)

They both were extremely well behaved for how long we were there. Of course, it helped when I could remind them that if they weren't good we would not be decorating the Christmas tree today. Of course, that worked like a charm. So as soon as we got home the kids got busy!

After all our hard work we were finally able to tuck the tree into the corner and cover the tree skirt with all the presents!

Yes, that is a picture of the kids with Maya. As Rory and Max will tell you, we don't need a dog, we have Maya! (And we really missed her a lot the last few weeks, it's great to have her back for doggie daycare.)
