It's December 16th and my kids are out playing on their swing set with no snow on the ground. (For the record, it was about 28 degrees when this photo was taken but naturally they must remove their hats as soon as they are out of Mama's reach.)

I'm a bit conflicted about this warmer weather. On the one side, it's a lot nicer not having to bundle the kids up a whole bunch while we're out and about. On the other side, I've got some skis that I've been really looking forward to using. So I guess, really, either way I can be happy, right?
