For 3 months, and three months only, we have a perfect age lineup with 2, 3, and 4 year old cousins. Aren't they adorable? (And almost the same height!)
The kids and I spent the majority of our weekend with Katie and the girls. The Daddies were busy with Randy's bachelor party which was being hosted at my house. We had a picnic at Lake Elmo Park Reserve and then enjoyed the festivities they put on for their Enjoy Your Parks day.
The kids got to make their own s'mores which was really yummy!
And they had a giant climbing while put on by the Army Reserve. Max had been bugging us the whole time to go climb it but as we got closer he got scared. Rory? She wanted to climb it. So we stood in line and Rory went first! That's my climber.
Max went second and he was not OK with me letting him go. But once he saw how the rope let you down? All he wanted to do was have me put him up high so he could let go and fall down. Silly boy!
Lyla was not at all interested in climbing the wall but while Max and Rory were going she got up her courage and stood in line. Look at the proud, brave girl!
Nora had to get in on the action too, so she showed off her scooting skills by walking along the wall to every one's enjoyment!
Our group also consisted of Joni (grandma to Lyla and Nora), Denise and Avery (auntie and cousin to the girls). We had a really great time with everyone and Grandpa Mike was even nice enough to give us a sneak peek into the newest building at the park!
Once we got back to Katie's we filled up the pool to let the kids cool off. (It had really warmed up during the time we were at the park!)
And of course I couldn't turn down a group bath photo shoot! How silly are these kids and their lion roars?
Thank you Auntie Katie, Lyla and Nora for letting us stay with you, we had a really great time!
