Max had been telling everyone all about his "Pirate" birthday, since a few weeks ago we had bought some napkins with Jake and The Never Land Pirates on them. He also insisted that he needed a pirate map so I made sure to print some out for him, Rory and Lyla. The day of the party he made sure to get all his pirate stuff out and even dressed up!
Lyla brought her Cadillac out and the kids (big and small) had fun driving those, along with the lawn mower and lawn tractor, around the yard. Yes, we have a country home over here.
Uncle Randy helped blow up the balloons for the kids to play with.
Auntie and Ta-Ta goofed around on the swing set.
GG and Grandma struck a pose.
Inside we all watched Max open his presents. Rory and Mama got a quick cuddle. (Rory did really well with watching Max open his birthday presents.)
Max and Daddy also had a quick cuddle, Daddy is good for those!
Afterwards we sang to Max and then he blew out his candles and ate his Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie N' Oreo Fudge Brownie Bar with ice cream on top.
Rory was caught with a beer. When asked what she was doing she said, "I smell it." Then proceeded to show us how she smelled it.
And Max tried out his Tow Mater mask that he received with one of his birthday cards.
It was a great birthday for a little boy who is so special to us! We love you Max, Happy 4th Birthday!
